Together with the Forestry and Wood Cluster, the Chemistry Cluster created an agenda addressing “Wood-based Bioeconomy – Opportunities and Potential for Bavaria” as part of this cross-cluster project. Besides highlighting the strengths and weaknesses as well as the opportunities and risks for a wood-based bioeconomy in Bavaria, the generated document identified key fields of action. At a joint event, the results were discussed with representatives of leading companies, research institutions and political institutions. The identified opportunities of a wood-based bioeconomy were further deployed within follow-up projects (see HoBB-C3).
