European Companies Invited to Solve Advanced Materials Challenges in IDEALIST Hack&Match
Event
The IDEALIST project invites European SMEs, mid-caps, and large enterprises to participate in
the upcoming Hack&Match Event #1, a unique opportunity to address critical challenges in
Advanced Materials through collaboration with experts and innovators. Scheduled for 13–14
February 2025, the event is designed to foster tailored solutions and strengthen the
competitiveness of European industries.
This initiative is ideal for companies in Energy-Intensive Industries, Aerospace and Defence,
Mobility, Transport, and Automotive sectors that are looking to innovate and stay ahead in
rapidly evolving markets. Mid-caps and large enterprises facing challenges such as product
lightweighting, material shortages, sustainability integration, or enhanced performance
requirements will find this event particularly valuable. Organizations seeking to reduce material
costs, adapt to shifting market demands, or implement sustainable practices are encouraged to
participate.
To join, companies are invited to submit their challenges related to Advanced Materials during
the submission period from 2 December 2024 to 10 January 2025. Each submission should
clearly define a specific challenge the company is facing. Selected challenges will become the
focus of the Hack&Match Event, where teams guided by IDEALIST project tutors will work
collaboratively to develop actionable solutions.
The event will be held online, offering participants free access to a curated network of solution
providers, researchers, and industry professionals. This is a chance for companies to co-develop
innovative ideas and position themselves at the forefront of technological advancements.
Companies interested in taking part are encouraged to submit their challenges as soon as
possible. The submission form is available at https://forms.gle/Chyp49veHzLYnxQEA.
