How can European SMEs anticipate change, respond to new challenges and build long-term resilience? This question will be at the heart of the IDEALIST Final Event on 24 November 2026 in Lyon and online.

After three years of European collaboration, the event will bring together SMEs, clusters, policymakers, innovation experts and other European stakeholders to discuss the economic, technological and geopolitical disruptions affecting European value chains and industrial ecosystems.

Turning project results into practical solutions

IDEALIST supports SMEs across three strategic industrial ecosystems: Energy-Intensive Industries, Aerospace & Defence, and Mobility, Transport & Automotive. The project helps companies strengthen their ability to anticipate disruptions, adapt to changing conditions and remain competitive in an increasingly uncertain environment.

The Final Event will bring together key project results, practical tools and experiences from companies across Europe. Participants can expect:

• Insights into current disruptions affecting European industry
• Company perspectives and practical examples of resilience
• Presentation of key IDEALIST outcomes and tools
• Innovation pitches from technology companies and solution providers
• Exchange between SMEs, clusters and European networks
• Networking and matchmaking with participants from across Europe

The event will also look beyond the end of the project and explore how the tools, approaches and networks developed through IDEALIST can continue to support European SMEs.
