Mr Singler, Munio Access is a software solution dealing with the access management of industrial parks and factories. Can you give us an example where Munio Access is already in use?
60 percent of all industrial parks in Norway are already using Munio Access. As an example, I would like to mention the industrial park Herøya which is the largest chemical site in Norway. The 80 companies located there include Yara, INEOS, Nippon Gases and Bilfinger Industrial Services. Digitalisation and automation processes are well advanced there and Munio Access is an important part of it.
In Herøya, all access and release processes have been automated. We have defined risk zones and requirements which are now linked to, usually digital, training courses on occupational health and safety. Only staff who have completed all the required trainings and who meet the respective requirements are granted access to the factory, a specific zone, or a hazardous area. Also access approval for external staff that must be granted e.g., in the event of a standstill, is processed digitally in Herøya via Munio Access.
Through this connection of access and learning management, Herøya ensures that nobody enters the premises without the necessary knowledge on occupational safety.
Wacker Chemicals Norway AS, the Norwegian business unit of our cluster member Wacker Chemie, is now one of your customers. Can you tell us more about this?
In fact, Wacker Chemicals has been our customer for seven years and uses Munio LMS. In August we also successfully implemented Munio Access. The implementation ran smoothly and almost completely remotely.
More than 3,500 SMEs in the region who are considered as subcontractors and suppliers for Wacker are benefiting from the new, simplified access and release processes.
In an endurance test our system has directly shown how much better the access management works now and how much time can be saved with the releases, as the changeover took place in the middle of a standstill, that is, in the middle of a project with a high demand for internal and external staff.
In addition to Munio Access, Munio AS is offering other digital solutions. What are they about?
Munio’s other digital solutions also focus on occupational health and safety in industry. With Munio LMS we have developed a learning management system specifically for the industry, in which companies can manage and conduct trainings and courses for employees and subcontractors. Classroom trainings can be combined with eLearning offers and other formats, all in various languages. External proof of competence can also be integrated so that companies can always check whether their employees have all the necessary skills and training.
Access to Industry is our training package especially for the industry. The modules included deal with all topics that are necessary for safe work on an industrial site. We have developed these courses with several industrial parks aiming at generalising the content where possible. After all, gravity applies to everyone, so not every factory has to reinvent the wheel and create new courses.
We also offer a one-stop-shop solution, Munio Market, for courses on occupational health and safety topics, also in several languages.
