What a kickoff! 🚀

Last week’s first CREATE Symposium at SKZ – The Plastics Center Würzburg was a great success – with over 100 participants from industry, science, and politics, plenty of fresh ideas, and a network that truly sparks innovation. 🌱💡

We at Chemie-Cluster Bayern were right in the middle of it as a project partner. With Dr. Theresa Dörres, Georg Weig, and Dr. Tobias Schwarzmüller, three of our colleagues were on site, engaging in inspiring discussions and actively shaping the expert forum “Chemistry of Renewable Materials & Additives.”

The forum called on the participants’ innovative spirit.
In short innovation sprints, small groups developed and critically discussed ideas for new bio-based applications and processes.

The result: even in a very short time, substantial and promising innovation concepts can be created. ✨

Based on the identified challenges and the needs expressed by the participants, a program for the upcoming expert forums is now being developed.

🎯 The goal is to enable topic-specific knowledge exchange and to turn initial ideas into concrete implementations over the course of the project.
