It includes the production of an innovative material category NET Materials® (Negative Emission Technology). NET Materials® consist of a combination of CO2-reducing biocarbons with different binders. The biocarbons are produced at decentralised locations worldwide from local biogenic residues and problematic materials by means of advanced pyrolytic carbonisation. As an attractive by-product, large quantities of surplus, base-load renewable energy are generated in the process.

Each tonne of carbonaute biocarbon stores permanently up to 3.3 tonnes of CO2.
