Seminar: Cell-Based Sensory – Making Biological Effects Measurable

On April 29 and 30, 2026, the seminar “Cell-Based Sensors” will take place in Regensburg. This two-day training provides an introduction to the fascinating world of cell-based sensing and is aimed particularly at professionals in research and development who want to measure and evaluate biological effects with precision.

The focus is on the fundamentals of cell culture technology, the use of cell-based assays, and the automation and parallelization of experiments. Participants will learn how to conduct drug and toxicity testing, as well as how to assess the biocompatibility of materials. In addition to theoretical insights, hands-on laboratory exercises will illustrate the applications and limitations of this innovative method.

The seminar is free of charge. Only a catering fee of 60 euros net per person applies. It offers the perfect opportunity to learn about the diverse applications of cell-based sensing and to gain practical experience.
