The bio-based economy is a strongly emerging sector with enormous potential. However, this is not yet being fully exploited. Fossil resources are still primarily used as starting materials instead of renewable, bio-based raw materials. The bioeconomy is also a growth sector in Bavaria, for which the Bavarian state government is currently developing a bioeconomy strategy. There have been numerous research and development activities for years, such as the TUM Campus Straubing, which has even been offering a bioeconomy course of study since last autumn.

In order to give you an insight into the competencies, success stories, potentials and products of the bioeconomy in Bavaria, we invite you to take part in our Bioeconomy Expert Forum in Straubing on January 22nd.

Date:
22-01-2020, 10:00 am – 14:30 pm

According to a survey by RKW Bayern e.V., more than a third of all SMEs have already cooperated with a startup. Does this also apply to your company?

The most common motives for such a cooperation are the development of innovative products, the conception of new technologies or the entry into new markets.

  • How can the cooperation be successful?
  • How can intellectual property be secured?
  • What innovations can result from new manufacturing technologies and raw materials?

With the aim of answering these questions and encoraging comapnies from the fields of chemistry and new materials, Chemie-Cluster Bayern and Cluster Neue Werkstoffe invite you to their Startup Day 2019.

Best practice examples provide information about the design and conditions for success of such collaborations.

The startup carousel brings you into contact with innovative startups – among others Circular Carbon, Coyotex, ING3D, Lignoa Leichtbau, LignoPure and mk2Technologies.

Target group: The event especially targets startups as well as specialists and executives from companies in the Chemical industry and material development from the areas Innovation | Business Development | Research and Development | Managing Directors
